Vidic agent dismisses Juventus links
Rumours surrounding the Manchester United man and a potential move
to the Serie A club continue, but the player's representative has again
rubbished reports of a transfer
The agent of Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic has again moved to dismiss speculation linking his client with a move to Juventus.
he Italian club are three points clear of AC
Milan at the top of Serie A and are understood to have substantial
transfer funds available to rebuild their squad in the summer, with
Vidic having been linked to Antonio Conte's side several times before.
But his agent, Silvano Martina, has denied having any contact with the Serie A side regarding the former Serbia international.
"Vidic is still out with a cruciate ligament injury," Martina told Tuttomercatoweb.
"You have to consider that he has a non-EU passport and that would make it difficult for him to arrive in Serie A.
"I can assure you that I have never spoken with Juventus about Nemanja."
Vidic, meanwhile, is expected to be fit in time for the start of next season as he continues his recovery from a long-term knee injury.
