Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta has defended the way in which they have pursued Manchester United starlet Paul Pogba.
Marotta says discussions with the Frenchman are now in the advanced stages, with the Italians now waiting on an answer from the 19-year-old.
"We have lured him away from Manchester United," he told Corriere dello Sport.
"We respected the rules. Pogba, for his own reasons, didn't intend to renew.
“We informed the club and we are now waiting for an answer. Talks are well advanced."
